JLGB's Bands - something really worth making a noise about.

A JLGB band is something rather special. But you don't have to be a James Blunt or a KT Tunstall to belong. If you can't play a musical instrument we'll give you the chance to learn - the JLGB is the only provider of entry-level music for Jewish youth across the UK.

What's different about a JLGB band?

As a member of one of our bands you'll be given the chance to perform at prestigious events and to take part in special competitions. But you'll have all the benefits of a JLGB company too - friendship, training and all the fun and adventure that goes with it.

Where can I find a JLGB band?

The JLGB has a number of Bands that provide music for Parades and to assist the wider community. Membership of a Band is open to every Senior Member, location permitting - we will welcome anybody who doesn't already play an instrument, and nurture those who do.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, for which the JLGB is the ONLY Jewish Operating Authority, is open to young people between the ages of 14 and 25. To achieve the Bronze, Silver or Gold award participants have to complete an activity in each of the four separate sections.
