JLGB - THE MIX!

The Mix… What’s it all about?!

All members between 14 and 16 (but not yet Sergeants) are invited to join The Mix. It’s a place for all those members (and their friends from outside JLGB) to get together, make friends, plan and attend events and, above all, have fun! It’s also when members begin their leadership training – learning how JLGB really works, and how to get involved with taking games, other activities and events.

The activities of The Mix are separated by Regiment (London and Provincial), but both Regiments come together for the highlight of the year – The Annual Mix National Camp!

Thanks to a recent grant awarded by the Jewish Youth Fund, The Mix is really taking off in a huge way – bigger and better events are planned for the coming year in both London and the Provinces, and a new training programme will help turn the members of The Mix into the JLGB movers and shakers of the future!

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, for which the JLGB is the ONLY Jewish Operating Authority, is open to young people between the ages of 14 and 25. To achieve the Bronze, Silver or Gold award participants have to complete an activity in each of the four separate sections.
