PARENTS, WHY CHOOSE THE JLGB FOR YOUR CHILDREN?

First and foremost, JLGB is fun. At its weekly group meetings, camps and other events across the country, your children will be able to experience the hundreds of different activities offered every year.

Secondly, JLGB provides a safe environment. All our staff attend a rigorous training programme before they are appointed as JLGB leaders. Every JLGB leader is CRB checked and first-aid trained, as well as receiving specific training in subjects such as programme planning, child protection, and health and safety, so you can be confident that your children receive the best possible care.

Thirdly, as can be seen by the large percentage of JLGB members who grow up in the organisation to become excellent leaders, the JLGB offers at all stages the opportunity to pick up and enhance the skills of leadership, confidence, responsibility and teamwork that will help them rise to the top in their chosen careers and in life generally.

As the Chief Rabbi recently said, the JLGB "has groomed many generations of young leaders who have learned, through their involvement in the Brigade, the qualities, skills and attributes of good leadership".
