Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we are not running any face-to-face youth provision at this time. However, the good news is that JLGB Virtual is continuing every Monday - Thursday until the end of August. Watch now at www.jlgb.org/virtual

JLGB Introduce New eVOLve Programme Impact Manager

We are delighted to welcome Louise Hehir to the team who has a wealth of skills and is responsible for the delivery and impact of all evolve programmes.

Louise is responsible for the delivery and impact of all evolve programmes and management of the evolve team. Working alongside the Director of Operations and Director of Communications, Louise also leads on the performance and internal governance to ensure we continue to deliver quality within all work across JLGB’s departments.

In her new role over the past few weeks Louise, alongside the ever expanding evolve team, have been busy continuing to deliver the major upgrades to the evolve platform that our key stakeholders, including teachers, have helped us design. Alongside this, Louise has led the evolve team to launch enhanced versions of the Yoni Jesner Award, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the National Citizen Service to Jewish young people across all secondary schools for this academic year.

Louise will lead on all the outcomes of our GPG funded evolve expansion project, which will kick start with the delivery of the seminar on the afternoon/evening of Wednesday 23rd January 2019.  It will be an opportunity for teachers, charity professionals and synagogue, youth and community workers to come together at an interactive workshop and drinks reception. We hope that together we can use our combined collective impact to better empower the next generation of young volunteers, through the creation of hundreds of more skills-aligned ‘youth, faith and inclusion friendly’ volunteering opportunities added on evolve.

Prior to 2018, Louise attained a BA Hons Degree in Product Design from Kent Institute of Art and Design, whilst gaining project management experience in the public sector for NHS Barnet and London Borough of Barnet. She then became a Senior Manager, managing transformational change programmes for London Borough of Barnet and then for the National Cancer Action Team to deliver national government policy to improve cancer care across England. Most recently Louise was a Senior Consultant with Quality Health, running national programmes, improving patient experience across NHS Trusts in England and with a range of charities.

Thanks to recently announced funding from GPG and Youth United, JLGB are currently recruiting for several new senior roles across the departments at JLGB HQ in London. To find out how you can join Louise and the team and for full job descriptions, visit www.jlgb.org/vacancies.
