Could you be the right person to inspire and support over 300 charities and organisations to realise their potential in providing impactful youth volunteering opportunities. You could be an integral part of the powerful evolve youth volunteering & skills initiative – a revolution in youth volunteering.

Thanks to National Lottery Funding, evolve are looking for a charismatic and experienced Partnership Coordinator with excellent and engaging relationship management skills to join our expanding team. This unique and exciting opportunity, as part of a three-year National Lottery project, is your chance to be at the forefront of an innovative and pioneering community initiative.

The right candidate should be passionate about youth volunteering and social action and have previous experience and skills in building strong partnerships and collaborations. Your role will be to create new, and develop existing relationships with variety of external stakeholders from charities, business, schools, youth groups and synagogues and work alongside them to support and enable them to develop more impactful and beneficial opportunities for young volunteers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Help charities and community organisations to truly embrace the value of youth volunteering, which both develops the transferable skills for young people, whilst importantly delivering measurable outcomes for charities and their beneficiaries.
  • Devise, map and prioritise a dynamic stakeholder partnership pipeline to engage our target of 300 organisations empowering them to create 2,000 youth, faith and inclusion friendly volunteering opportunities on the evolve digital platform.
  • Organise, promote and deliver training seminars and workshops on the key principles of evolve to help charities, schools and communities better harness and retain the collective power of youth volunteers.
  • Identify existing youth volunteering projects being delivered in local communities that are not currently benefiting from being aligned to evolve and the achievement awards on offer including the Yoni Jesner Award, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, National Citizen Service and Open College Network accreditation.
  • Engage with synagogues, youth groups and community centres to promote the full benefits of the evolve awards framework and create a local engagement plan to increase the impact young people make on local communities and wider society.
  • Volunteer brokerage in order to match volunteers with charities.
  • Organisation of social action days.
  • Develop relationships with employers and businesses to develop youth employment opportunities, corporate support and sponsorship for the long-term sustainability of the evolve initiative.

Knowledge and Skills/Abilities:

Desired

At least 1 years’ experience of stakeholder engagement or account management

Experience of youth work, particularly youth social action and volunteering

Excellent communication, relationship management and collaboration skills

Experience working in partnership with schools, youth groups or community organisations

Confident at networking and identifying collaborative opportunities to foster beneficial partnerships

Experience in working with individuals from a range of cultural and faith backgrounds

Ability to develop project plans, timelines and reports, and to manage own workload whilst collaborating with others

Interest in developing local, regional and national interfaith relationships and partnerships
