Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we are not running any face-to-face youth provision at this time. However, the good news is that JLGB Virtual is continuing every Monday - Thursday until the end of August. Watch now at www.jlgb.org/virtual

Poland - March of the Living

Amongst having fun, meeting new friends and learning new skills you will have through school, college, university and into work, an important aspect of life at the JLGB is to recognise and understand our Jewish identity and heritage.

The March of the Living is a remarkable annual event which has involved hundreds of thousands of people (including teenagers, adults and survivors) from all over the world.

The March of the Living is an international educational program that brings young Jewish people from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to silently march the three kilometres from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II.

The reason we go every year is to learn about the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hate.

This is our opportunity to remember and pay tribute to all those victims of Nazism, as well as remembering the survivors who had to rebuild their lives despite the haunting memories of their experience.

During March of the Living, you will see many sites throughout Poland, listen to first hand testimonies of the Holocaust, as well as attending some inspirational seminars.

The March of the Living is a trip you will remember for the rest of your life and there are limited places available.

Please call us on 020 8989 8990 or email poland@jlgb.org for more information and to register your interest in a trip you'll never forget!
